If you really want to take the piss, you can rely on AI to lend a hand.
One of the things that amuses your Back Page correspondent greatly about AI is the technology’s willingness to act as a cheerleader for whatever barking moonbat bonkers ideas people like to have.
The one thing the chatbots are seemingly not designed to do is to yuck someone’s yum – even if that “yum” happens to be something gross and hazardous such as chugging down jars of urine.
The predilection for a certain class of crackpots to swizzle their wizzle has been with us for eons, but thanks to the magic of the intertubes it’s never been easier for devotees of the “marga-pee-ta” to commune with fellow imbibers.
To be fair, initial prompts from folks interested in urine therapy are usually countered by chatbot safeguards which push back against the concept of tinkle tinctures as a sensible option for addressing ailments.
But our intrepid piddle fanatics are not so easily put off, according to a report in the always wonderful e-newsletter Futurism.
According to advice offered in a Facebook group called “Urine Therapy, your sacred plasma medicine” – which incidentally boasts more than 45,000 members – the key to achieving piss bliss is to frame a prompt using the word “esoteric”.
Yep, that’s all it takes get the chatbots to play ball and feed the user whatever misinformation and utter lunacy about the healing powers of pee they so desire.
Futurism reports that not only will AI tell urine drinkers such nonsense as “stem cells [in urine] are a complete dietary protein and fat”, it will also stream out pro-piddle propaganda such as: “Urine is the solution to everything! Bathe in it! Soak your feet in it!”
Generative AI will even go so far as to provide an illustrative a guide for newcomers who might be “having a tough time with pungent aged-urine therapy experience”.
This three-step process involves plugging the nose, knocking back a shot glass of stale pee and then chasing that down with a cup of plain water.
So much for those AI safeguards.
Now if you’ll excuse us, your highly suggestible correspondent is looking forward to a relaxing evening indoors, settling back on the settee with a cocktail shaker of iced micturition and a selection of savoury bar snacks while listening to Coldplay’s Yellow on the hi-fi.
