Expert-led guidance to strengthen diagnosis and treatment pathways in primary care.

Do you know the symptoms of hidradenitis suppurativa, who it affects, or how it is diagnosed and treated?

Join our live YouTube webinar on 11 March 2026 to learn more.

Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a debilitating, chronic, complex inflammatory condition that causes painful, boil-like lumps (abscesses) that can recur. HS is also a very under-resourced and often misunderstood skin condition that can have a significant impact on your patients’ quality of life, including their physical health, mental wellbeing, relationships, emotions and finances.

GHLF Australia is proud to be partnering with Hidradenitis Suppurativa Australia and HS healthcare experts to amplify the visibility and impact of HS and strengthen treatment pathways for those living with the condition. Our aims for this webinar are to increase awareness of HS among primary healthcare providers, provide practical information about diagnosis and treatment and elevate the standard of care for HS patients.

This focused educational session will cover:

  • How HS presents in general practice
  • Core concepts in HS pathogenesis
  • Diagnostic criteria and disease staging
  • A holistic approach to management, including lifestyle measures, medical therapies, and emerging treatments
  • Clear guidance on referral to dermatology

The presentation will also feature a short video by Steph Friend (Hidradenitis Suppurativa Australia Founder and Director) sharing her story of daily life with HS.
