He’s baaaaaaaaaack. After a brief sabbatical the Monarch of Medical Madness is back in the saddle. Brace yourselves.
A doctor has been referred to AHPRA after openly criticising the flesh-eating monster Hannibal Lecter, it has emerged.
Dr Brian Cox told The Medical Republic:
“When the police brought Lecter into the ED I stitched him up and asked him where he got the human liver from. He said Woolworths, which clearly wasn’t true. He also said something weird about fava beans and a nice Chianti.”
Dr Cox was subpoenaed and after giving his court evidence he agreed to an interview with the Herald Sun where he described Lecter as “nuttier than squirrel shit” and “a bit of a prick”.
His comments prompted a flood of complaints and he is now being investigated by AHPRA.

One of the complainants told TMR:
“Thanks to Dr Cox, serial killers will never be able to confide in their doctors ever again. I mean are you seriously telling me that we now live in a world where you only have to dismember one sex worker and eat her with wine to get called a prick! It just isn’t on!”
Lecter will be sentenced later in the year. As will Dr Cox.
