Professor Candid happens across the pharmacy guild’s headquarters.
The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is actually located in an underground medieval dungeon stuffed with treasure, it has emerged.
The pharmacy guild’s headquarters can’t be found on any map, and that’s because it’s hidden deep within the confines of a medieval lair.
Prof Candid told The Medical Republic, “I was at a conference eating a ham sandwich while looking for the men’s toilets when I must have taken a wrong turn and wandered in there by accident”.
Prof ended up in a damp stone corridor with flickering torches bracketed to the wall and at the end was what appeared to be a large wooden doorway to the belly of the keep.
“I felt my way down the corridor,” continued Prof, “and I was on the last bit of my sandwich when I saw a golden light like a morning sunrise and I realised I must have stumbled on the guild’s long fabled treasury”.
“I saw enormous chests brimming with gold coins,” continued Prof.
“I saw orbs and sceptres, tiaras and gemstones and other big things made out of gold, like wheelbarrows weirdly enough. Basically there was a lot of gold.
“I then saw one of the higher-ranking guild members trying on a crown. He caught sight of me in the mirror and that’s when I bolted out of there”.
Prof Candid felt a couple of crossbow bolts whizz past his head and heard a lot of wailing but still managed to escape with his life.
